Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
To ensure statutory compliances as per applicable acts/rules for EHS like FA 1948, EPA 1986, Petroleum Act etc.
Daily Hazards Identification & Mitigation for immediate control of potential unsafe acts and conditions in plant.
To conduct periodical audits & Inspections to Access the gaps with respect to EHS Standards for taking corrective action.
Incident Management through Reporting, Investigation & Analysis for effective CAPA to prevent reoccurrence.
Imparting EHS related trainings to create the awareness and inculcate safe behaviour among all level of employees and induce
safety culture.
Operational control & Maintenance of Fire Emergency Facilities like fire Hydrant system, Fire Alarm system and Fire
extinguishers etc.
To implement basic EHS systems like PPE Management, Safe Work permit, EHS Committee meetings, LOTO, On site emergency
plan & develop SOPs /Check list for critical operations.
Organising and celebrating various EHS related campaign on scheduled occasions to groom EHS culture.
To coordinate and conduct ISO-14001 & OHSAS 18001 certification & surveillance audits through external accredited agencies.
To prepare and submit EHS MIS as per the standard template for internal & external purposes.
